Trust response to Land Rights and Responsibilities Statement Review
Scottish Ministers are required to publish a Land Rights and Responsibilities Statement under the Land Reform (Scotland) 2016 Act. This Act sets out what Ministers need to consider when preparing the Statement and requires the Statement to be reviewed every 5 years.
The first statement was published in 2017. Five years on, it's now being reviewed and the Scottish Government has held a consultation to gather feedback on a revised vision and whether the six principles are still relevant, or if there are issues they do not acknowledge.
