Trustee call

Our Trustees help to shape the work of the Trust, and contribute their skills and knowledge to areas of work from conservation and lobbying government to financial management.

The Board of Trustees needs a wide range of skills, including natural heritage and ecology; land management (incl. agricultural land); outdoor education; fundraising community engagement; marketing; planning procedures and regulations. In particular we welcome applications from women, as well as Members from all age groups and ethnic backgrounds around the UK.

Five Trustee places become vacant on our Board in 2024. We are particularly interested in Trustees being elected to the Board with experience and skills around: corporate and/or charity fundraising; land management; ecology; public policy; and community engagement.

Ballot papers have since been shared with Members and we urge them to cast their vote before 12.30pm on 26 July 2024.

The successful candidates will be announced at the AGM on 14 September 2024. We look forward to seeing you there, or at one of our Members’ Gatherings.
