Guidelines for submitting Wild Moments
Members and supporters of the John Muir Trust: here's how to share your stories and poems about wild places
Submit your short stories, or poems of around 500 words or less; describing anything from a special experience in a wild place, to an unexpected wildlife encounter, or simply a particularly blissful or cherished moment while spending time outdoors in the UK - or a John Muir related spot.
The best ‘wild moments’ will be featured on our website, highlighted in our e-Newsletter and printed in the Journal.
As well as words, we'd love to see a small selection of accompanying low resolution jpg images (we’ll ask for hi-res versions for those articles selected for the Journal) ideally including one of you enjoying the outdoors.
- Please send your written submissions as a Word document via e-mail to our communications team.
