Pentlands Peaks Challenge to raise money for John Muir Trust
The John Muir Trust has been chosen as one of the charity partners for the Artemis Pentland Peaks Challenge – will you walk with us?
This year we are thrilled to have been chosen as one of two charities to benefit from the Artemis Pentland Peaks Challenge; an endurance walk across Edinburgh’s Pentland Hills. In it’s inaugural event in 2022, participants raised over £100,000 and with the support of the Artemis Charitable Foundation, 100% of profits will go to the Trust and school meals charity, Mary’s Meals.
“We are delighted to be selected as one of the charity partners for the Pentland Peaks Challenge. As well as the fundraising opportunity, its an opportunity to encourage people to visit their local wild places such as the Pentland Hills in Edinburgh and engage with nature – while taking on an exciting challenge!" Adam Pinder, Income Generation Director
There are Gold (27 miles), Silver (14 miles) and Bronze (10 miles) routes so there’s something for everyone to push their limits. All participants are asked to fundraise a minimum of £250 as part of the challenge on the 2nd September. There are still 100 places available to take part – sign ups must be made online at the Pentland Peaks website beforehand and can be made as an individual or a team (6 or more people) for a 20% discount on entry fees.
