Autumn talks and walks

Join us for our autumn series of wild talks and walks! Meet John Muir Trust staff over complimentary drinks, then listen to our special guest speakers and their unique take on what wild places mean to them.

Book now for Aberdeen, Edinburgh and Coventry

Aberdeen and Edinburgh

If you are near Aberdeen on 3 Ocotober, or Edinburgh on 2 November, please join us to hear our special guest speaker - adventurer and writer John D Burns.

John D Burns

John will whisk us away to a remote Highland bothy, where a weary traveller finds shelter from the storm. In his rucksack he has coal for the fire, candles to ward off the darkness, and a little whisky to bring some cheer.

His tale sets the scene for why our purpose - to protect and restore wild places - is more vital than ever. You will also have the chance to hear updates on our latest work and learn how you can help and protect wild places.

Our corporate partners have also generously provided some fantastic raffle prizes for you to win, including: a £100 Tiso Gift CardBen Lomond Limited Edition John Muir Trust Gin Gift Set; Platinum Tour & Taste of Scotland Dinner for two at the Scotch Whisky Experience! £10 raffle tickets can be purchased online with your ticket or on the night.

Coventry

If you are near Coventry on 25 October, you are warmly welcome to join us for a guided tour of Charterhouse Heritage Park with our Regional Delivery Manager Gareth Morgan, before settling in to listen to our special guest Mathew Frith, Director of Policy and Research at the London Wildlife Trust.

Mathew Frith - London Wildlife Trust

Mathew will explain the importance of urban conservation, setting the scene for why our purpose - to protect and restore wild places - is more vital than ever. You will also have the chance to hear updates on our latest work and learn how you can help and protect wild places.

Members and non-members are very welcome to come along to our autumn series of events, but please book in advance. For more details email our events team.
