Election of Trustees results announced
Trust thanks outgoing Trustees and congratulates and welcomes new members of the board
The results of the John Muir Trust's 2020 Election of Trustees, collated by the Civica, were officially announced at the Trust’s first Online AGM on Saturday 27 June 2020.
Two current Trustees - Alan Dobie and Andrew Whitfield - have been re-elected, each to serve a further three year term.
Five newly elected Trustees also join the Board. Jane Smallman, Emily Henderson, Raymond Simpson have been elected to serve full three year terms. Chris Loynes has been elected and accepted a Trustee position for two years and John Town for one year – both filling part term vacancies.
The meeting was led by our new Chair – Dave Gibson (pictured above) - who was elected by the Board. He thanked outgoing Trustees John Fox-Davies, Derek Johnston, Duncan Macniven and Peter Pearson for their service to the Trust.
Thanks to all those who stood for election and didn’t get in. We hope you will try again next year.
We look forward to welcoming newly elected, re-elected and current Trustees to the next Board meeting.
