Andrew Cotter supports Trust with Celebrity Mastermind win
The sports broadcaster (and lockdown dog commentator) recently competed in Celebrity Mastermind to win a donation for the John Muir Trust.
Sports broadcaster Andrew Cotter has had an even more unusual year than many! When live sporting events were cancelled earlier in the year, he started posting on social media hilarious commentaries on the antics of his two labradors, Olive and Mabel. The videos went viral and have now been viewed over 50 million times.
And now, answering questions about Smallfilms (Bagpuss, Ivor the Engine, Noggin the Nog), he has won the Celebrity Mastermind 2020 title. We were delighted to learn that he chose the John Muir Trust as one of his charities to benefit from the winner's prize money.
Head of Fundraising, Adam Pinder, said: “We are so grateful to Andrew for raising awareness of the John Muir Trust and the work we do to protect wild places, and for the generous prize money donation."
Congratulations Andrew and many grateful thanks from everyone at the John Muir Trust.
- Andrew's book, 'Olive, Mabel and Me,' is out now. Order the book and catch up with the adventures of Olive and Mabel here.
