Thirlmere volunteer days
As part of the Thirlmere Resilience Project, we are running monthly volunteer days in the heart of the Lake District National Park at Thirlmere, 9.30am - 4pm. Get involved here.
12 December 2024 – tree planting
8 January 2025 – tree planting/conifer removal
30 January 2025 – tree planting/confier removal
17 February 2025 – tree planting/ conifer removal
15 March 2025 – tree planting
18 April 2025 – confier removal
1 May 2025 – conifer removal/ tree nursery work
7 June 2025 – bracken bashing
Note: The proposed tasks may change if the weather isn't favourable.
Bring: A packed lunch/snack, waterproofs, warm clothes, good sturdy shoes/boots.
